I asked an employee of a graphics company if he could come up with a design for our company logo that more clearly reflected both the personality testing side of the business as well as the management and team development side.

When he came to my office and placed the checkerboard graphic in front of me, I immediately said, “This is it!” The chessboard logo has a pawn, which symbolizes the placement of the right person in the right position. I always tell clients that their goal in interviewing should not be to hire the job candidate, but to make sure it is a job match.

The second part of the logo is the two faces created by the outline of the pawn. The idea is one of relationships in management development and in team building. The right people in the right places are working together contributing to the goals of the company.
